The Armies of Legarion

Vladek's Armies

After his failed coup against King Mathias of Morcia, and after his defeat at the battle in Ankoria, Vladek has been in retreat. While the Ankrian army (also known as Shadow knights or Scorpion knights) fell apart, Vladek escaped with his most loyal soldiers. He hid and started building a new army of mercenaries and criminals. These Rogue Knights lead by Karzon and Dracus are cruel and ambitious. They follow Vladek in his plan to take over Morcia.

Vladek's Shadow Knights and Rogue Knights attacked our border to draw away our troops from the Lion's Castle when the trolls and Fright knights attacked, which leads us to believe that they work together with Basil, though we have no confirmation yet.

Lord Vladek

Lord Vladek

Traitor of Morcia and former advisor of king Mathias. Vladek tried to grab power and was defeated twice. He attempted imprisoning the king and winning the throne through a rigged tournament. When that failed he retreated to Ankoria, where he tried to gain power by reforging the stolen shards of the Shield of Ages into a mask. Sir Jayko managed to smash the mask and push Vladik into hiding once again.

Karzon

Karzon

Weaponmaster of the Rogue Knights, Karzon has been recruited by Vladek in order to cause chaos in Morcia. He's a brute who thinks he can defeat his every foe, and he hasn't been proven wrong yet. He's a good fighter and is loyal to those who pay him the most.

Karzon

Dracus

Being a fierce warrior and very skilled with a sword, Dracus has made a name for himself as a dangerous warlord even before he was recruited by Vladek to lead his Rogue Knights. He serves the Lord of Ankoria as second in command.

Vladek's Army

Army structure and equipment

Vladek's army can be devided into the remnants of his Shadow knights (who now function as his personal guard) and the horde of Rogue knights. His troops cary halberds, axes, swords and spears, and wear whatever armour they have available. There are a few archers among Vladek's ranks, who stay back and provide some support from affar during a battle.

Vladek and Dracus wield shardblades, froged by Vladek himself using the Book of Morcia, that he stole from the Royal castle when he first tried to take the throne.
